In 2023, URSH participated in the ABSTRUCTION group show, exhibiting recent studio work alongside Micha De Bie, Tobias Becker Hoff, and Paul Ouwerkerk. The exhibition explored the artistic tension between two seemingly opposing concepts: abstraction and obstruction. The word ABSTRUCTION encapsulates the desire to create something new and innovative while confronting the obstacles and limitations that can stand in the way of creative expression. This dynamic showcase brought together diverse artistic styles, highlighting how abstraction can meet and interact with obstruction in the contemporary art world.
