An independent abstract mural painted along a street-front wall in Abbotsford Convent, in Melbourne’s inner north. Self-initiated, the project was a chance to push the visual language at street scale, without a brief. Graffiti letterforms are broken into cut planes, spray gradients and transparent layers of orange, coral and deep teal. The composition stretches across the full length of the wall, built to be read in motion by people walking or riding past. Up close, the brushwork and layered texture reward a second look. The same approach translates to commissioned murals for homes, businesses, developments and public spaces across Melbourne.
