A large-scale abstract mural created for Big Picture Fest, Frankston’s annual street art festival. The wall wraps the facade of a multi-storey car park beside the station, facing a busy road and transport hub. Cobalt blues, teals and acid yellows build a dense field of cut shapes and layered fragments. A burnt orange ribbon runs the full length of the wall and pulls the eye through the composition. The scale and the site called for a piece that reads from passing cars and trains as clearly as it does up close. Painted from a scissor lift over several days, the mural joins Frankston’s growing collection of festival walls.
